Mrs. Teabody Greets the Day: June 23, 2011
Hola, Darlings!
Mrs. Teabody is wrestling the twenty-first century to the tarmac, and it's rather daunting in such a nice dress, but not to worry. The woods are lovely, dark and deep, and this morning they are WET so the planned perambulation with Lady Glass and Duchess Ming must wait. Bad thing about a rainy morning is all the keys on the dastardly cell phone stick so Mrs. Teabody can punctuate only declarative sentences.
Have you already scribbled July 15 ( Tickle Your Fancy (TYF) Open House) into your planner? You must prepare to take your chances here in the Wild Woods just so you can see so many pretty things, and not a tart burner or grapevine wreath amongst them. Just the loveliest: shiny, fanciful, indulgent pretties hoping to go home with you.
Mrs. Teabody's Excellent Good Friend ( EGF) Mrs. Fluffymuffin rarely calls on Mrs. Teabody because of her MANY ( !) issues with Mother Nature, but even EGF agrees that she has future commerce involving the delightful Canadian imports from Cate and Levi.
The newest arrival is Tea Forte's lovely summer teas, and just wait till you try them. The Nantucket Sampler has. . . are you ready? Listen:Blackberry Pomegranate, Raspberry Nectar, Lavender Citrus, and White Ginger Pear. Glorious.
Lady Glass has just sent a double ding on my cell phone with a tiny little letter saying the rain has stopped, so I shall call the Duchess, and off we go.
